In 6th period yesterday, we went to room 136 we tried to figure out what was wrong with a projector. The projector wouldn't show any red on powerpoints, but it would show red on everything else. The first thing we tried to do was to change the settings with the projector. We tried to change any setting that dealt with color or screen projection. However, the settings did not fix anything with the powerpoint. Then we started to replace the bulb, Noah and Micheal went to the storage room to get a tall ladder beforehand. Mrs.Salyer went up on the ladder and unplugged the power from the projector. She then used some of the screwdrivers she brought and unscrewed the cover for the projector bulb. She gently unscrewed the bulb from its place and asked Noah to get the new bulb, and hand it to her in the exact same position the old bulb was in when she pulled it out. As that was happening Mrs.Salyer wanted to clean the filter. So I went to the tech room to get a red can of dust cleaner. She handed me the filter and I tried to clean the filter, however the red can let out too much air pressure at once and it caused some of the material of the filter to fall off and create a hole in the filter. Noah and I went to the tech room to find a new filter. However we could not find any. Johnny came in and got another bulb as the other one would not fit into the projector. When we came back Mrs.Salyer finished screwing in the cover for the bulb. When we plugged the power back in it did not fix it. The final thing we tried was looking at the VGA video wall outlet. Mrs.Salyer pushed the VGA cable into the outlet and the red of the powerpoint could be seen on the projector screen.
